1. General

This privacy policy describes how Senseeds ApS (CVR 41 33 93 73) (hereinafter as "Senseeds" or "we") collect and process personal information about you.

The policy applies to the personal information that you

  1. submit to Senseeds in connection with a purchase at senseeds.com,
  2. contact Senseeds in another connection (customer service) regarding orders, products or similar,
  3. Senseeds collects personal information from third parties or,
  4. pursuant to a collaboration/supplier relationship. In addition, the personal data policy also covers the personal information that we collect when you visit our website, senseeds.com.


The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain what personal information we collect about you, when we do it, why and for how long we process the personal data collected and to what extent we pass it to third parties in accordance with current data protection laws in the form of;

c) EU Personal Data Regulation (2016/679) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free exchange of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter "the Personal Data Regulation"), as well as

d) the Data Protection Law of 17 May 2017 on additional provisions for a regulation on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free exchange of such information (hereinafter the "Data Protection Law").

Senseeds is the data responsible for the personal data we process about you.

2. Our processing of your personal data

2.1. Use of senseeds.com

When you visit senseeds.com, we use cookies to collect personal information about you and your use of the website, e.g. your searchwords to get to the site or whether you are using a mobile phone or laptop, your IP address, and a number of other information about the device you are coming from. We use this data for statistics and behavioral patterns at senseeds.com, to constantly improve the customer experience and website performance.

The purpose of this data collection is that it is in our interest to provide you with the best shopping and visiting experience at senseeds.com with relevant offers and content.

We collect and process such information in accordance with our justified legitimate interests, cf. the Personal Data Regulation Article 6 , 1 point f, cf. the Data Protection Law §6 point 1. In addition, this type of information is used to target marketing afterwards via so-called retargeting on eg. social media and display advertisements if you have consented thereto, cf. the Personal Data Regulation Article 6, 1 point a).

Information collected on senseeds.com are, as a starting point, deleted in accordance with the rules stated in our cookie declaration.

2.2. Purchase of goods at senseeds.com

When you make a purchase on senseeds.com, we collect information that you enter yourself (name, email address, desired method of delivery, payment info). In addition, we collect information about which product you buy.

The purpose of this collection is that we can deliver your order according to your wishes, and in case there is a need for us to contact you with information regarding your order. We collect and process such information for the purposes of fulfilling the agreement we enter with you, or for the purpose of implementing measures taken at your request prior to the conclusion of an agreement pursuant to Article 6, 1 point b) of the Personal Data Regulation.

In addition, we collect and process your personal data to comply with the legal obligations we have as a company in connection with financial reporting, and to prevent abuse and fraud under Article 6, 1 point c)-d) of the Personal Data Regulation cf. the Data Protection Law §6 point 1.

For personal data covered by the Accounting Law, we retain this information for a period of five (5) years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates, unless we have another purpose for storage purposes. For information covered by the ordinary complaint deadline, we retain this information for a period of two (2) years from the time the complaint deadline occurs, unless we have another relevant purpose for retention. For other personal data, we only store these as long as we have a relevant purpose for the processing.

2.3. Newsletter sign-up

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect and process your name and contact information based on your consent, in order to stay up to date with the most relevant releases and news from Senseeds.

We keep your personal information as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter.

2.4 Social media

We collect and process the information that you post on our social platforms in the form of Facebook and Instagram. We collect and process such information pursuant to our justified legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6, 1 point f) of the Personal Data Regulation cf. the Data Protection Law §6, point 1. We recommend that in addition to this policy, we familiarize you with the respective data protection policies for Facebook and Instagram.

Your posts and personal information will be available to others in accordance with the regular deletion periods for Facebook and Instagram, respectively, unless we or you delete them before then. We reserve the right to delete any posting that we find inappropriate, offensive, misleading, racist or politically incorrect or otherwise inconsistent with Senseeds' brand and values.

We make you aware that others may use, tag or share your postings in any other way than you may have intended. By posting on our social platforms, you agree that we and others have the right and access to use and disclose the information you post on our website or social media.

2.6. Suppliers and other business partners

When you deliver products to Senseeds or otherwise collaborate with us, we collect and process a variety of personal information about you, including in particular name, contact information as correspondence. We collect and process such information in accordance with our justified legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6, 1 point f) of the Personal Data Regulation cf. the Data Protection Law §6 point 1.

3. Disclosure of data to a third party

Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy.

We disclose personal information to public authorities when this results from a legal obligation. It can for example be information to the Police, Tax etc. in case of suspected credit card fraud.

When you make a purchase at senseeds.com we pass on relevant personal information in the form of name, delivery/shipping address and contact information to Senseeds' logistics partner, Link Logistics(CVR 28 65 90 24) who handles this process for Senseeds. In our choice of logistics partner, criteria such as the ability to ensure confidentiality and integrity of the overall assessment.

If you wish to return an item purchased on senseeds.com, we exchange your personal information with our bank in order to refund your payment.

We work with external partners who process information on our behalf. It can for example be the development of our technical platform or data analysis to create a better experience at senseeds.com. Where relevant and in accordance with applicable data protection law, we enter a data processing agreement with such partners.

Some of these partners are Google Analytics w/ Google LLC., Mailchimp, Hotjar, and Facebook Inc., based in the United States. In this context, personal data is transferred to the United States. The necessary transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU will occur in accordance with applicable guarantees for transfer in form of the EU Commissions Standard Contractual Clauses.

In case of a possible acquisition of the company or partial divestment, the disclosure of personal information will be handled in accordance with current legislation regarding the processing of personal information in connection with the transfer of business.

4. Your rights and right of appeal

4.1 When we process your personal data, you have several rights according to the Data Protection Law.

You have the right to gain insight into what personal information Senseeds has registered about you, and in what connection we use this personal data. You also have the right to have a copy of the personal data we process about you.

Should we, against expectations, process incorrect information about you, such as a wrong shipping/billing address, then in some cases you have the right to have the incorrect information corrected.

In some cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal information deleted by us, for example if you revoke your consent and we do not have a qualified basis for retaining your personal information (for example, if we are legally committed to it).

In some cases, you have the right to have personal data provided by yourself, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transfer this information to another data controller.

In some cases, you have the right to object to our use of data, e.g. marketing. If you do not want us to use your personal information for direct marketing and profile-ringing, you must delete your cookies.

If our processing of your personal data is based on consent, you can always revoke the consent you have given us in connection with a personal data. You should be aware that your withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of our treatment based on the consent prior to the withdrawal.

Please note that limiting our processing of your personal data cannot be done where the Senseeds is subject to a legal obligation. In addition, limiting our processing may mean that we cannot deliver a product purchased at senseeds.com.

5. Changes and latest updates

5.1 We will notify you of important changes to this Privacy Policy - including changes to the purposes for which we process your personal information or changes in relation to your rights through one of the communication channels you have chosen. If you do not agree that we can contact you, you can always find the applicable privacy policy at.

We recommend that you continually check and update yourself with our privacy policy.
